Tatum O’Neal shared a rare photo of her father Ryan, who appeared gaunt and sickly, when the two went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 12.
“With my legendary dad!” Tatum captioned the shocking picture, explaining experts were “trying to get his heart fixed up.”
As Radar reported, the father and daughter have been fighting to help 34-year-old Redmond, the only son of the late star Farrah Fawcett, after he allegedly plunged a knife into a man’s head and injured another man with a broken glass bottle during a week-long crime spree in Los Angeles on May 2018.
Redmond, who was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and abuse disorders of methamphetamine, cocaine and alcohol, has been charged with attempted murder and other felony charges and faces serious jail time.
Ryan, 77, and 55-year-old Tatum recently banned together and begged a judge to consider Redmond’s worsening mental state, while psychologists pointed to years of trauma and alleged neglect suffered by the jailed celebrity son, according to explosive court records.
