Heather Locklear’s SoCal home was narrowly close to being engulfed in flames, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
The actress, whose made Thousand Oaks, CA, her home for years, is one of the many celebs who have fled the area since fires erupted across Southern California last week.
“Heather had to evacuate,” revealed a source. “The fire came right up near her house. She got lucky.”
Hundreds of residents who were recently allowed to return home were forced to turn around and flee again after a large flare-up of the Woolsey Fire sparked south of Thousand Oaks Tuesday morning.
The Woolsey Fire has burned more than 97,000 acres— the largest in L.A. County history – and was 40 percent contained Tuesday night. It has destroyed at least 435 structures.
This has been a tragic homecoming for Locklear after recently completing a three-month stint in rehab.
She returned to her mansion only to face the fires and the shooting at Borderline bar close to her home.
“Praying for the people of Thousand Oaks,” she last posted on Instagram six days ago.
As Radar reported, the 57-year-old’s multi-million mansion located in the upscale community of Westlake Village has also been deemed a “hazard” by the Ventura County Fire Department because of her headline-making altercations at the property involving the police.
Locklear, who was in treatment after abusing prescription pills and alcohol, was originally charged with five misdemeanor counts — four misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest — after she allegedly bit her fiancé Chris Heisser on the nose and hit and threatened Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies and emergency responders who went to her home in February.
In June, it was following a weekend of raging at Heisser, accusing him of cheating on her, that Heather attacked her father, tried to strangle her mother and threatened to kill herself. Police had to haul away the fallen ’80s icon and she was committed to a psych ward.
Now she faces a whopping eight misdemeanor charges to which she has pleaded not guilty.
