They are going to share joint legal and physical custody of their son, Josey, 2, and neither was awarded spousal support.
The Glee star and her husband separated in December and she filed for divorce. Rivera was arrested over Thanksgiving in 2017 for allegedly assaulting her husband.
According to police documents previously obtained by Radar, Rivera let go of their son’s stroller, letting it roll a whopping five feet downhill before Dorsey managed to catch it. The physical fight allegedly started after that incident.
Dorsey took control of the stroller and headed back to his parents’ home in West Virginia where they had been staying for the Thanksgiving holiday. The officer noted Dorsey “continued stating repeatedly how he couldn’t believe she had let the stroller go with their child in it,” according to the report. “Rivera began using profane language and yelling at him. Dorsey advised he continued pushing the stroller, not letting Rivera have control of it again. Rivera became irate and began to strike Dorsey, with a closed fist, in the face and back of the head.”
The charges were dropped after Dorsey refused to prosecute.
Rivera and Dorsey tied the knot in 2014.
