Prince Harry is already ringing in the holiday season — and he has a lot to celebrate!
The royal, who announced his engagement to Meghan Markle last week, attended the London Fire Brigade Carol Service at Westminster Cathedral on Monday. And while there was plenty of holiday cheer to go around, there was just one thing missing: his bride-to-be.
Harry attended the popular event without his fiancée Meghan, who was by his side Friday as they marked their first official outing as a royal couple with a series of event in Nottingham.
The annual service includes festive readings and traditional Christmas carols for London Fire Brigade’s uniformed and non-uniformed members of staff and their families. The event is also attended by former colleagues who have retired from the Brigade.
Prince Harry watched the service before meeting with some of the London Fire Brigade’s staff, firefighters and cadets.

Kensington Palace said in a briefing last week that Meghan and Harry are still sorting out their Christmas plans and that they will be announced in the coming weeks.
“Knowing Harry, I wouldn’t be surprised if he jets off to L.A. at Christmas or around Christmas to spend time with her family,” an insider told PEOPLE.
